Vanilla Pompona Grandiflora, also known as "vanillon" or "banana vanilla", develops an incomparable aromatic palette with singular notes of anis and maraschino for the Finga (exceptional with meat & fishes) while Stella (desserts, alcools and rums) is defined by very pronounced liquorice, coumarin, fresh tobacco leaf and wood notes with buttery and floral flavour in the background. The Stella sub-specie won the 2026 Silver Médaille at the Salon de l'agriculture in Paris. The two subspecies of Pompona Vanilla are grown by Ben - aka Vania - in the Guyanese region of Saint Laurent du Maroni under the canopy of the tropical rainforest. It's a limited production, the Stella mostly is allocated to Chefs and the Finga to Perfumers for their exclusive creations.
