Not comparable to Bourbon gourmet quality which is thicker, yet this late harvest of Planifolia Bourbon Red Vanilla from Madagascar has powerfull fragrances and notes, strong flavors and aromas, is extremely aromatic and appropriate for extraction and maceration (oil/alcool). it's also not rare to see vanillin crystals forming on these well aged vanilla beans, the last harvested on vanilla vines.
Pods measure +- 18 cm for an average weight of 3gr. A kilo is about 330 beans.Moisture: 28%
