Vanilla Pompona from Guadeloupe, also known as "Vanillon" or "Vanille banane", develops an incomparable aromatic palette with singular notes of maraschino and is defined by very pronounced liquorice, coumarin, rum and fresh tobacco leaf notes with buttery and floral flavour in the background. This vanilla is grown in the southern region of Basse-Terre, in Baillif on the leeward coast under the canopy of the tropical rainforest on the side of the volcano. It's a limited production, almost confidential as these Pompona is not even present at the SIA in Paris since it's already fully allocated to Chefs and Perfumers for their exclusive creations.
