Another rare endemic Vanilla specie found in Tanzania in 2023, also found in the wild on the African continent, notably Mozambique and other countries located along the Equator line. This one has the particularity of having no leaf: The Vanilla Roscheri.
Its pods get fully ripen after about 18 months on the vine, and need at least as long to complete its maturing and refining process, one that is particularly well suited to the pods so as not to alter its character. Its aromatic profile - made up of vanillin in lesser quantities compared to other species - does possess other molecules that deserves to be married to specially curated dishes to attest of its unique aromatic profile.
Indicative pod length: 14–16 cm; as a natural product, pod length, width and individual weight may vary from pod to pod; the stated quantity corresponds to the exact number of pods in the lot sold; the exact net weight is stated separately when packed and invoiced. A kilo is about 300 pods.
Moisture: +-35%
Vanillin: +- 2%
Packaging: 1 pod or more in glass tubes or in uv-bag
