Organic Vanilla Roscheri

Origin: Tanzania

Harvest: 2025

DDM: 31.12.2028

Another rare endemic Vanilla species found in Tanzania in 2023, also found in the wild on the African continent, notably Mozambique and other countries located along the Equator line. This one has the particularity of having no leaf: The Vanilla Roscheri.

Its pods get fully ripen after about 18 months on the vine, and will surely need at least as long to complete its maturing and refining process, one that is particularly well suited to the pods so as not to alter its character. Its weight is about 3 gram per pod for a length of 12 to 18 cm. Its aromatic profile - made up of vanillin in lesser quantities compared to other species - does possess other molecules that deserves to be married to specially curated dishes to attest of its unique aromatic profile.

Moisture: +-35%

Vanillin: +-    %

Packaging: 1 pod or more in glass tubes or in uv-bag

Tanzania origin certified

The next batch -after this one is sold out- will be available by 2026, we'll keep you posted ッ

One of our Favourites Vanilla Species
