60 Roscheri Vanilla from Mozambique

Origin: Mozambique
 
Another rare endemic Vanilla species found in Mozambique in May 2025, also found in the wild on the African continent, notably Tanzania and other countries located along the Equator line. This one has the particularity of having no leaf.
 
Its pods get fully ripen after about 18 months on the vine, and will surely need at least as long to complete its maturing and refining process, one that is particularly well suited to the pods so as not to alter its character. Its aromatic profile - made up of vanillin in lesser quantities compared to other species - does possess other molecules that have not yet been analysed and deserves to be matured under optimum conditions to be able to truly attest of its potentially aromatic qualities and more probaly therapeutic or medicinal properties.
